<p>The purpose of this essay is to outline the conception of principals´pedagogic assignment amongst principals and teachers at all schools year 7 - 9 in Dalsland from the principals´ conception of their assignment as pedagogic leaders from the point of view of the public sector, the municipality, students and faculty. As a starting point the portions of the school constitution; school law, elementary school ordinance and teaching plan which discusses the principal´s role regarding responsbility and pedagogic leadership were used.</p>
