Previous issue date: 2017-05-24 / FACEPE / Esta pesquisa trata da memória do Curso Superior em Educação Física da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, o recorde temporal escolhido foi de 1972 a 1985, período este de criação do referido curso. O trabalho tem como objetivo exercer a memória da Gestão do Ensino Superior em Educação Física em Licenciatura Plena da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco no período de 1972 a 1985 e mais especificamente, a) analisar o perfil dos(as) gestores(as) do período em análise; b) sistematização da memória de programas, projetos e ações referentes ao período, c) análise do relacionamento entre o curso de Educação Física juntamente com os órgãos da reitoria e d) analisar a postura da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, especialmente o Departamento de Educação Física, mediante aos acontecimentos políticos da época. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos, foram realizadas uma análise bibliográfica, documental e entrevistas, a fim de captar dados referentes a memória do Curso de Educação Física, além de sua interação nos aspectos sociais e políticos no país. A análise dos resultados obtidos, nos serviram de guia para entender como um Curso em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior funcionava, desde de sua criação, mostrando a sua trajetória, os seus problemas enfrentados, as suas conquistas, além da importância que o(a) gestor(a) universitário(a) tem para o um bom funcionamento do curso. Este trabalho servirá, aos futuros coordenadores, chefes e Reitoria como forma de planejamento estratégico em suas gestões, ainda servirão de estudos para analisar a história dos outros cursos numa Universidade seja pública ou privada. / This research deals with the memory of the degree in physical education from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, the temporal record chosen was of 1972 to 1985, this period of creation of this course. The work aims to carry on the memory of the management of physical education in higher education Graduate of the Federal University of Pernambuco in the period from 1972 to 1985 and more specifically, a) analyze the profile of the managers of the period; b) systematization of programs, projects and actions for the period, c) analysis of the relationship between the course of physical education along with the bodies of the rectory and d) analyze the attitude of the Federal University of Pernambuco, especially the Department of physical education, by the political events of the time. To achieve the proposed objectives, bibliographical, documentary analysis and interviews, in order to capture data on the memory of the Physical education course, besides your interaction on social and political aspects in the country. The analysis of the results obtained, we served as guide to understand how a course at an institution of higher education works, since your creation, showing your trajectory, their problems, their achievements, as well as of the importance that the University Manager has for a proper functioning of the course. This work will serve, to future engineers, chiefs and Rectory as a form of strategic planning in their managements, still serve as studies to analyze the history of the other courses at a University is private or public.
