För den utsatta patienten kan det första mötet med sjukvården ske på akutmottagningen. Det är av största vikt hur sjuksköterskan bemöter patienten i detta skede. Sjuksköterskan ska hjälpa patienten att känna trygghet och göra sitt bästa för att motverka lidande. I denna litteraturstudie är 14 vetenskapliga artiklar granskade, med syfte att belysa patientens upplevelse av sjuksköterskans bemötande på en akutmottagning. Resultatet visar, delvis, att patienterna är nöjda med bemötandet från sjuksköterskan på akutmottagningen samt att patienten kände sig trygg i detta möte. Resultatet visar samtidigt att sjuksköterskan bör sätta större fokus på en bra kommunikation och tydlig information. Det är av stor vikt att sjuksköterskan lär känna patienten som en unik person, tar sig tid att sätta sig in i dennes livsvärld samt att hon är lyhörd till patientens problem. Förhoppningsvis kan resultatet av denna studie öka den professionella sjuksköterskans kompetens och samtidigt hjälpa henne förmedla hopp till den utsatta patientens livsvärld. / For the vulnerable patient, the first encounter with the healthcare system can be at the emergency department. It is, here, crucial how the nurse meet the patient. The nurse shall help the patient to feel safe and the nurse shall do her best to avoid any sort of suffering. In this study, 14 researches are reviewed, aiming to elucidate the patient experience of the encounter with the nurse, at the emergency department. The findings show that the patients partly are pleased with the encounter at the emergency department and that they felt comfortable in and with the care. However, it also shows that it is needed for the nurse to focus on a good communication and properly information. It is also ginormously significant that the nurse knows the patient as the unique person he or she is, take time to see into the unique patient lifeworld and listen to patient troubles. Hopefully the result of this study can help the professional nurse to increase her skill and bring hope into the vulnerable patient lifeworld.
