Para tanto, apresentou-se na forma de dois estudos. O Estudo 1 teve como objetivo a elaboração do teste. Como método foi feito levantamento bibliográfico para verificar como são feitas atualmente a avaliação da escrita manual, das habilidades percepto-viso-motoras e da função motora fina. A partir de então, foi elaborado o procedimento e realizado o estudo piloto. Como resultado do estudo 01 apresentou-se 13 tarefas divididas em três baterias, sendo cinco tarefas que envolveram a avaliação da legibilidade e velocidade da escrita manual para a bateria da avaliação da escrita manual (BAT-EM), cinco tarefas para a bateria de função motora fina (BAT-FMF) e três tarefas para a bateria percepto-viso-motora (BAT-PVM). O estudo piloto mostrou-se de fácil aplicabilidade e boa compreensão por parte dos escolares, gerando pequenas modificações para a versão final. Após a conclusão da elaboração do teste, deu-se início ao estudo 02, o qual teve como objetivo caracterizar o perfil e comparar o desempenho dos escolares do ensino fundamental I e II no TPEM e, ainda, verificar se há relação entre as três baterias do TPEM. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This study aimed to establish a Handwriting Proficiency Test (TPEM) for primary school students, aged 9 to 14 years, which evaluates three areas: legibility and speed of handwriting, fine motor and visual-motor perceptual skills. Therefore, it presented in the form of two studies. Study 1 aimed to prepare the test. As a method was done to see how bibliographic are currently made the evaluation of handwriting, the visual-motor perceptual and fine motor skills. From then, it was elaborated the procedure and conducted the pilot study. As a result of the study 01 appeared 13 tasks divided into three battery, five tasks involving the assessment of legibility and speed of the handwriting to the evaluation of battery handwriting (BAT-EM), five tasks for the battery fine motor skill (BATFMF) and three tasks for visual-motor perceptual battery (BAT-PVM). The pilot study proved to be easy to apply and well understood by schoolchildren, generating small modifications to the final version.
