Percepciones docentes sobre las actividades psicomotrices para el desarrollo de la autoestima en los niños y niñas del aula de 3 años de una I. E. privada de Lima

Esta tesis aborda las percepciones de docentes sobre las actividades psicomotrices para
el desarrollo de la autoestima en aulas de 3 años y tiene como objetivo general analizar
las percepciones docentes sobre las actividades psicomotrices en el desarrollo de la
autoestima. Así, los objetivos específicos son identificar las actividades psicomotrices que
la docente utiliza con niños de 3 años y describir los beneficios de las actividades
psicomotrices en el desarrollo de la autoestima. En tal sentido, el estudio corresponde a
la metodología cualitativa en un nivel descriptivo y se ha considerado la técnica de
entrevista. De esta manera, se concluye que las docentes planifican y ejecutan de distinta
manera sus actividades psicomotrices que van desde la práctica psicomotriz hasta la
intervención psicomotriz, y asumen el enfoque global de la psicomotricidad. Asimismo,
desarrollan la autoestima generando actividades lúdicas que permiten expresar
emociones, desarrollar la autoconfianza y autoimagen, autocontrolarse, autovalorarse,
interactuar, reconocer el propio cuerpo y el entorno. / This thesis addresses teachers' perceptions of psychomotor activities for the development
of self-esteem in 3-year-old classrooms. The research topic arises from the problem:
What are the perceptions of teachers about the development of self-esteem in the
psychomotor activities of 3-year-old children from a private educational institution in Lima
Metropolitana? To respond to this, the study is applied to three nursery education
teachers from a private educational institution in Lima Metropolitana, with the general
objective of analyzing teacher perceptions of psychomotor activities in the development of
self-esteem and the specific objectives of identifying the motor activities that the teacher
uses to promote the construction of self-esteem in 3-year-old children and describe the
perceptions of teachers about psychomotor activities in children in the 3-year-old
classroom. The study corresponds to the qualitative methodology at a descriptive level. A
semi-structured interview guide was applied to find out the perceptions and conclude that
teachers plan and execute their psychomotor activities differently, ranging from
psychomotor practice to psychomotor intervention and assume the global approach of
psychomotor skills, and develop self-esteem by showing playful activities that allow
expressing emotions, developing self-confidence and self-image, self-control, selfassessment,
interact, recognize one's own body and the environment. This thesis
provides a vision about the way in which the informants develop their psychomotor
practices and how they link them to the development of self-esteem.
