Previous issue date: 2016-11-30 / This thesis is part of the sociology of violence and has as its theme the study of the behavior of social units and institutions such as the media and the state and residents about the production of violence within a region called the Federal District Environment. Legally recognized as RIDE (Integrated Development Region of the Federal District and Surroundings), this set of cities, Federal District and states is organized from the institutionalization and creation of Brasília. With the urbanization and attraction of countless migratory movements, the cities near the capital began to host various social problems. Violence is one of the most serious of these problems since it highlights cities in the Surroundings of the Federal District considered as some of the most violent in the world. This research specifically analyzes a category of violence baptized here as invisible. This term deals with the difficulty of perceiving this type of violence against ordinary crime, categorized by homicides, rapes, robberies, etc. On the contrary, "invisible" violence is not physical and does not produce immediate effects, but produces social discomforts capable of multiplying crime and other forms of violence. Synthesis of symbolic violence, institutional violence and the production of social stigmas, invisible violence is characterized by disrespect for social and individual rights. For the realization of this research, some research techniques and theories were used. In the research on the behavior of the media, we opted for Content Analysis and Discourse Analysis; For the study of violence produced in the context of residents, we used Focus Group and Discourse Analysis. And for the investigation of the violence produced by the state, we opted for the Qualitative and Comparative Analysis of Public Budgets. Previously, bibliographical research and field studies were carried out, in terms of the "Sociology of Experience", in an expression developed by François Dubet. / Esta tese se insere no campo da sociologia da violência e tem como tema o estudo do comportamento de unidades sociais e instituições como a mídia e o estado e os moradores quanto a produção de violências dentro de uma região denominada Entorno do Distrito Federal. Reconhecido juridicamente como RIDE (Região Integrada de Desenvolvimento do Distrito Federal e Entorno), este conjunto de cidades, Distrito Federal e estados se organiza a partir da institucionalização e criação de Brasília. Com a urbanização e atração de inúmeros movimentos migratórios, as cidades próximas da capital passaram a sediar vários problemas sociais. A violência é um dos mais graves destes problemas já que coloca em destaque cidades do Entorno do Distrito Federal consideradas como algumas das mais violentas do mundo. Esta pesquisa analisa em específico uma categoria de violência batizada aqui de invisível. Este termo trata da dificuldade de percepção desta espécie de violência frente a criminalidade comum, categorizada por homicídios, estupros, roubos, etc. Ao contrário, a violência “invisível” não é física e nem provoca efeitos instantâneos, mas produz desconfortos sociais capazes de multiplicar a criminalidade e outras formas de violência. Síntese da violência simbólica, da violência institucional e da produção de estigmas sociais, a violência invisível se caracteriza pelo desrespeito aos direitos sociais e individuais. Para a realização desta pesquisa, foram utilizadas algumas técnicas de investigação e teorias. Na pesquisa sobre o comportamento da mídia, optou-se pela Análise de Conteúdo e Análise de Discurso; para a pesquisa da violência produzida no âmbito dos moradores, utilizou-se Grupo Focal e Análise do Discurso. E para a investigação da violência produzida pelo estado optou-se pela Análise Qualitativa e Comparativa dos Orçamentos Públicos. Antes, foi realizada a pesquisa bibliográfica e o estudo de campo, nos termos da “Sociologia da Experiência”, em expressão desenvolvida por François Dubet.
