Previous issue date: 2009 / The purpose of this study is to explore the interrelated concepts of representation and grammar in Wittgenstein‟s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus. The most important matter put to the Language of Philosophy is the relation between language/reality, because in fact to know how a language is capable to mean things, i. e., to refer to the reality, is the fundamental problem for any philosopher who intends to thing about reality through prepositions. Throughout his life the problem of the connection between language e the world obsessed him and repeatedly in his writings he returned to the elucidation of the nature of a perspicuous representation of the world in language. This task dominates the Tractatus and continues as a major preoccupation in the grammatical investigations of the later philosophy. This is why I begin my argument from the structure of reality and immediately after step to analyze the structure of language, so that at the end of this work can realize the greatness of this issue. During the analysis will seek to clarify some important concepts Tractatus, such as the concept of “fact” and “possible states of affairs”, “objects” and “names”, “figuration” and “method of projection”. / O objetivo deste estudo é explorar a inter-relação dos conceitos de representação e gramática no Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus de Wittgenstein. A questão mais importante colocada à Filosofia da Linguagem é a relação linguagem-realidade, pois, com efeito, saber como a linguagem é capaz de significar coisas, ou seja, referir-se à realidade, é o problema fundamental de qualquer filósofo quando busca pensar a realidade através de proposições. Ao longo de sua vida o problema da conexão entre linguagem e mundo tornou-se uma obsessão para Wittgenstein, repetidamente ele retoma este tema para elucidar a natureza da representação do mundo na linguagem. Esta tarefa domina o Tractatus e continua como um tema dominante nas investigações gramaticais de sua filosofia posterior. É por isso que começo minha argumentação pela estrutura da realidade e imediatamente passo a analisar a estrutura da linguagem, para que no fim deste trabalho se possa perceber a grandeza desta questão. Durante a análise eu procurarei clarificar alguns conceitos importantes do Tractatus, tais como o conceito de “fato” e “estado de coisas possível”, “objetos” e “nomes”, “figuração” e “método de projeção”.
