Intresset för genusperspektivet väcktes i en kurs på Malmö högskola genom läsning av ”Lilla genushäftet” som är skrivet av Maria Hedlin. Undersökningen i uppsatsen genomfördes på en förskola genom att titta på mötet på morgonen, mellan pedagog och barn, ur ett genusperspektiv. Syftet med undersökningen var att studera om och hur genus skapas i förskolan. Finns det skillnader i hur pedagogerna tror sig göra och hur de faktiskt gör i mötet på morgonen. Följande frågeställningar har använts för att genomföra undersökningen:•Är det skillnad på hur man bemöter flickor och pojkar i förskolan?•Vad har pedagogerna för uppfattning om hur man bemöter flickor och pojkar?Observationer och intervjuer av tre pedagoger har genomförts. Pedagogerna har inte visat några större skillnader i bemötandet av flickor och pojkar. Deras uppfattning är att de inte heller gör några skillnader i bemötandet men att det finns skillnader i hur flickor och pojkar vill bli bemötta. / Authors: Git-Marie Nilsson and Annika LindholmTitel: Good morning gender! How we meet the children from a gender perspective? The essay is written from a gender perspective. The interest in gender perspective started on a course at Malmoe University and by reading of the ” Lilla genushäftet” written by Maria Hedlin. The content in this essay is coming from an investigation made on a preschool and by observing the way of how teachers at the preschool was meeting up the children in the mornings.The purpose with the investigation was mainly to study and find out if and how creating of gender is taking part in the preschool. Are there any differences between how the teachers think they act and how they actually do it when they meet the children in the mornings?Following questions has been used to go trough the investigation: •Are there any differences between how the teachers refute the girls and the boys in this preschool?•What is the teachers view in how they refute girls and boys?Observations and interviews have been made of three teachers. The teachers have not shown up any significant differences in how they refuted boy’s verses girls. Their own view is also that they don’t make any differences between how they refute boys and girls, but that boys and girls actually want to be refuted in different ways.
