In this essay I will examine two different forms of media from two different publishers. Throughout the essay I will study how these differing media cover the First World War and I will focus on both what is highlighted and what is not in the two different publishers. The two different publishers have a differing reader-base one focusing on the public while the other is targeted towards historians and history teachers. I will focus on the use of history and what the different publishers chose to highlight and expose during the anniversary of the great war (2014).
