Previous issue date: 2014 / Youth changed with the internet and social networks. Young individuals that used to have contact with partners only eventually, can now, through online social networks and mobile devices talk almost all the time with their friends. At the same time, society is changing from a modern environment into a postmodern and complex one, in which human relations and institutions change in importance and dynamics. This dissertation presents a look at these contexts and the characteristics of Young people born on the digital age. It also aims to, through the observation of a group on Facebook, using virtual ethnography and interviews, find elements that allow us to understand how is formed the dynamics of influences on a group of digital born. With these elements, the dissertation designs a panorama of how a Young individual becomes influent on one’s group of friends, which elements give people this role and projects possible consequences of this habit. / O jovem mudou com a chegada da internet e das redes sociais. Quem antes crescia em um ambiente de contato apenas eventual e com horário marcado com seus pares, hoje tem, através das redes sociais na internet e dos dispositivos móveis, a possibilidade de conversar quase em tempo integral com os amigos. Em paralelo, a sociedade se transforma de um ambiente moderno para um ambiente pós-moderno e complexo, em que as relações humanas e as instituições mudam de importância e dinâmicas. O presente trabalho de pesquisa apresenta um apanhado desses contextos e das características dos jovens nascidos na era digital. Também busca, através da observação de um grupo de jovens no Facebook por etnografia virtual e entrevistas, elementos que permitam entender como se dá o jogo de influências dentro de grupos de nativos digitais. A partir desses elementos, desenha um panorama de como um jovem se torna influente dentro do seu grupo de amigos, quais elementos fazem dão a ele esse papel e projeta possíveis consequências desse hábito.
