A presente dissertação tem como objetivo investigar o modo como crianças se relacionam com diferentes imagens artísticas. O foco deste estudo é pensar, com as crianças e suas contribuições, os elementos e os modos de olhar infantis, diante de algumas obras de arte. Para esse fim, foram realizadas três dinâmicas, com crianças entre 8 e 9 anos, alunas de uma escola estadual do município de São Leopoldo (RS). As atividades foram planejadas a partir de textos teóricos, especialmente aqueles relativos ao conceito de imagem e de infância. Escritos de Michel Foucault, Didi- Huberman, Walter Kohan e Gaston Bachelard (dentre tantos outros) constituíram a base teórica da pesquisa. Ao realizar as análises, reivindico a alteridade das intervenções e falas infantis, não as restringindo apenas ao olhar de adulto da pesquisadora. Busquei operar com referenciais que permitissem uma atitude de abertura à criação, por parte das crianças, de modo que suas contribuições pudessem repercutir em outras formas de conceber e tratar a própria infância. Na análise dos dados (falas das crianças, além do relato das diferentes interações com elas), discuto as formas pelas quais elas criam, a partir de uma dada experimentação artística, seus devaneios em meio a cores e formas, e as relações que emergem da cultura visual na qual elas estão inseridas. Aponto, ao final deste estudo, para a pertinência e a contribuição dos modos de ser infantil, ao próprio pensamento filosófico sobre imagem, arte e infância. / This dissertation aims to investigate how children relate to different artistic images. The focus of this study is to think with children and their contributions, the elements and the children look for ways to some works of art. To this end, I realized three dynamic, with children aged 8 to 9 years, students from a public school in São Leopoldo (RS). The dynamics were conceived based on theoretical texts that have integrated my studies about the concept of image. To develop my theoretical thinking, I base myself on Michel Foucault, Didi- Huberman, Walter Kohan and Gaston Bachelard. I look for, to perform the analyzes, claim the otherness of their words, not restricting my adult look. I claim a creative openness to children so that their contributions can reverberate on our thinking about childhood. With the children's contributions I discuss their creations from art, his reverie between colors and shapes, and the relations that emerge from the visual culture in which they operate. I indicate at the end of this study the relevance and contribution of children's thought to integrate the philosophical thinking about image, art and childhood.
