Orientador: João Luís Cardoso Tápias Ceccantini / Banca: Luís Hellmeister de Camargo / Banca: Márcio Roberto Pereira / Resumo: Henriqueta Lisboa (1901-1985) é uma poetisa reconhecida por sua obra no contexto da literatura brasileira, destacando-se também por um livro direcionado ao público infantojuvenil, O menino poeta (1943). Embora sua produção literária seja apreciada por vários estudiosos da área, não há um estudo sistemático da crítica de que foi objeto esse título publicada em jornais, revistas, livros e trabalhos acadêmicos (dissertações, teses e artigos científicos). Nesse sentido, a presente pesquisa busca a organização e sistematização da fortuna crítica sobre O menino poeta, a partir de uma análise apresentada nesta dissertação em quatro capítulos: o primeiro apresenta a obra e descreve um pouco da vida da poetisa. O segundo focaliza como os jornais registram, entre os anos de 1942 e 1985, apreciações analíticas do livro. O terceiro capítulo tenciona observar se certas concepções referentes às diferentes abordagens de análise apresentadas nesses jornais continuam norteando a avaliação de O menino poeta pela crítica especializada nas suas publicações em livro, entre os anos de 1965 e 2012. O quarto capítulo detém-se sobre teses, dissertações e artigos acadêmicos realizados sobre O menino poeta, publicados entre 1998 e 2012, com o objetivo de verificar se as conclusões apresentadas nesses trabalhos fazem avançar o julgamento crítico dessa obra fundamental na produção da escritora. Como resultado, expõe-se, ao final, características da produção infantil da autora, com referências mais específicas ao livro O menino poeta, destacando-se a qualidade de seu trabalho no contexto da produção infantojuvenil brasileira do século XX / Abstract: Henriqueta Lisboa (1901-1985) is a poetess known by her works of Brazilian Literature and stands out by a book for the infant-juvenile public, O menino poeta (1943). Although her literary production is well considered by several studious in Literature area, there is not one systematic study of the criticism in which this book was object in newspapers and magazines and books and in academic work as dissertations, thesis and research papers. This way this present research aims at organizing and systematizing the criticism vast framework about O menino poeta, from an analysis that is based in four chapters: The first one presents the work and describes the poetess' life. The second one focalizes how the newspapers show, from 1942 to 1985, the appreciations that are real analysis of the book. The third chapter aims at verifying if some conceptions of distinct analytic boarding presented by these newspapers keep guiding the evaluation of O menino poeta by the specialized criticism published in books inside and outside the infant-juvenile field between the years 1965 and 2012. The fourth chapter focuses on thesis, dissertations and academic papers done about O menino poeta, published between 2006 and 2012, with the goal of verifying if the presented conclusions in these studies make progress on the criticism's judgment of this fundamental book in the production of the author. As a result, in the end of this dissertation, we illustrate the characteristics of the infantile work of such author, especially regarding O menino poeta, emphazing the quality of that work in the context of the Brazilian infant-juvenile production of the twentieth century / Mestre
