Följande studie tar upp problematiken bakom skador inom division II och III ishockey. Antalet skador inom denna sport är många och ur ett samhällsperspektiv blir det därför viktigt att undersöka vad som krävs för en förändring. Ishockey är en sport som går snabbt samt använder sig av kroppskontakt i form av tacklingar. Detta gör att flera skador uppdagas inom sporten där skador rörande axeln är en stor del. Denna studie syftar genom detta till att uppdaga om någon förebyggande träning sker gällande axelskador inom division II eller III. Vidare undersöks vad som krävs för att möjliggöra att förebyggande träning sker i större omfattning. Fem tränare medverkade i studien vilka alla hade minst ett års erfarenhet av division II eller III ishockey. Teorin rörande organisationskultur berördes för att kunna belysa kulturens inverkan på sporten ishockey. Kulturen ansågs här viktig då den bidrar till ökad förståelse till varför sporten fungerar som den gör samt varför ett visst beteende utförs. Den insamlade empirin i studien analyseras med hjälp av en direkt tematisk innehållsanalys. Denna analys kan uppdaga teman och kategorier med målet att ge svar på de frågeställningar som används. / The following study examines the problems regarding injuries in division II or III ice-hockey. The amount of injuries in this sport is high and when considering the effect on society something needs to be done in order to change it. Ice-hockey is a fast sport with body-checking being allowed. This leads to a number of injuries with shoulder injuries being one of the most common. The aim of this study was to examine if any preventive training is being used regarding shoulder injuries in division II or III. The study also examines which possibilities could be used in order to enable a larger amount of preventive training. Five trainers were interviewed, and all of these trainers had at least one year of experience being a trainer in division II or III. The theory considering organizational culture was used in order to better understand how the culture affects the game of ice-hockey. The culture was here considered important due to the fact that it affects how the sports works and why a certain behavior is used. The gathered information in this study was analyzed through a direct thematic analysis. With this, themes and categories could be developed with the aim of answering the questions asked in this study.
