Previous issue date: 2018-04-16 / The focus of this study is the child living in the Amazonian floodplain, on the banks of the Solimões/Amazonas River, especially in the region of the Terra Nova Coast - Community São Francisco, located in Careiro da Várzea - AM municipality. These social subjects attend the Municipal School Prof.ª Francisca Góes, considered the largest of this locality. This research had as objective to analyze, through playful practices, the socioenvironmental representations of the "territorialities" of the peasant children of this community. So that to reach this goal the methods used were: participant observation, field registration, informal conversations and drawings made by the children themselves. The analyzes were made from the drawings and verbalizations of the children about their representations. From these, it was inferred that the socio-environmental representations of the varzean children show through the ludic an endless forest, myths that reignify their play, their imaginary in the day to day, but also in their way of life. The lands, forests and waters, myths and symbols are symbolic aspects of the Amazonian imagination that are present in the children's games. The movements and places of play performed by children reveal the environment in which they live, because from the point of view of their totality, movement represents a factor of culture. The children's recreational repertoire is diversified and is carried out through free play in the Amazonian nature, where the movements happen spontaneously like jumping, jumping, kicking, climbing, throwing, swinging, running, constituting important elements for the cognitive and social construction of children, as well as their way of representing it in the socio-environmental context. / A criança foco deste estudo é a criança que habita a várzea amazônica, nas margens do Rio Solimões/Amazonas, especialmente a região da Costa da Terra Nova - Comunidade São Francisco, localizada no município do Careiro da Várzea - AM. Estes sujeitos sociais frequentam a Escola Municipal Prof.ª Francisca Góes, considerada a maior desta localidade. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar, através das práticas lúdicas, as representações socioambientais das “territorialidades” das crianças camponesas desta comunidade. De modo que para se chegar a este objetivo os métodos utilizados foram: a observação participante, o registro de campo, conversas informais e desenhos realizados pelas próprias crianças. As análises foram feitas a partir dos desenhos e verbalizações das crianças acerca de suas representações. A partir destas, inferiu-se que as representações socioambientais das crianças varzeanas evidenciam através do lúdico uma floresta sem fim, de mitos que ressignificam seu brincar, seu imaginário no dia a dia, mas também no seu modo de viver. As terras, florestas e águas, mitos e símbolos são aspectos simbólicos do imaginário amazônico que se fazem presente nas brincadeiras das crianças. Os movimentos e lugares de brincadeira realizados pelas crianças, revelam o meio em que elas vivem, pois sob o ponto de vista de sua totalidade, o movimento representa um fator de cultura. O repertório lúdico motriz destas crianças é diversificado e é realizado por meio do brincar livre na natureza amazônica, onde os movimentos acontecem de forma espontânea como pular, saltar, chutar, subir, arremessar, balançar, correr, constituindo-se em elementos importantes para a construção cognitiva e social infantil, bem como sua forma de representá-la no contexto socioambiental.
