guiraldelli_la_dr_sjrp.pdf: 525519 bytes, checksum: e83397ad8efa3236df0a34b32d8652ed (MD5) / Partindo da hipótese de que a relativização do conteúdo semântico não afeta a assertividade do sujeito enunciador do discurso da autoajuda, o objetivo deste trabalho é investigar quais são os contextos que autorizam a leitura da relativização como resultante de modificaç ões que se alojam em diferentes camad as de estruturação do enunciado. O u seja, a presente pesquisa pretende identificar, no plano da gramática, quais são os processos que contribuem, nos diferentes níveis de organização da língua, para os efeitos discursivos que, de alguma forma, relativizam o valor semântico de um enunciado assertivo. Para tanto, esse estudo se desenvolve dentro de uma perspectiva funcional da linguagem e tem como modelo teórico de análise a Gramática Discursivo -Funcional (GDF). Em última instância, é a inter -relação entre a semântica e a pragmática das estratégias discursivas que nos interessa investigar. O córpus desta pesquisa está composto por duas obras escritas originalmente em língua portuguesa e popularmente consideradas como literatura de autoajuda - Abaixo a mulher capacho (ABRÃO, 2009) e O sucesso não ocorre por acaso: é simples mas não é fácil (RIBEIRO, 1992). A literatura mostra que os livros de autoajuda, de maneira geral, pregam que o segredo para que qualquer indivíduo consiga melhorar de vida, alcançar o sucesso ou obter êxito financeiro está na crença incondicional na realização dos sonho s, dos projetos de vida, dos desejos etc. A partir dessa afirmação, o esperado é que esses discursos se pautem pelas indicações de certeza, eliminando os espaços para dúvidas e indagações que poderiam, de alguma forma, ‘abalar’ o lugar de saber do enunciad or. No entanto, observa-se que o enunciador faz uso de uma série de estratégias que, ao relativizarem a força de um ato de fala, ao modalizarem... / Assuming that the semantic content relativization does not affect the assertiveness of the subject in the self -help discourse, the aim of this study is to investigate which contexts allow relativization as a result of modifications tak ing place in different layers of the utterance, i.e., to investigate, in grammatical terms, which are the processes that contribute, at the different levels of language organization, for discourse effects that, in some way, relativize the semantic value of an assertive utterance. For that purpose, this study rests on a functional language perspective in a Functional Discourse -Grammar (FDG) approach. It is the interrelation between pragmatics and semantics that is important to be analyzed. The data analyzed comprise the books Abaixo a mulher capacho (ABRÃO, 2009) and O sucesso não ocorre por acaso: é simples mas não é fácil (RIBEIRO, 1992). Literature shows that self -help books, in a general way, advocate that the secret to anyone wanting to improve their lives, to succeed or to achieve financial success is the belief in the unconditional fulfillment of dreams, life plans and desires. From this statement, it is expected that th ose discourses are guided by indications of certainty, eliminating spaces for questions and inquiries that might, somehow, interfere in the speaker’s pl ace of knowledge.
