Previous issue date: 2004-03-30 / To the measure that it observes the technological advance, that the nintendo generation gives to beginning its ingression in the work market and the businesses happen in the whole world in real time, fulfill to think about an education system that incorporates the technology and computer science, indispensable activities to face and to take care of the rapidity and the agility that the work requires. It is forcible that professors integrate students and markets, centered in the problems faced and based in the theory and in the existing link between the world of knowing and the world of making. However, it is with weighing that it is evidenced the distance between the knowledge of the content and its application with the available tools. About the disciplines that involve financial calculations, is essential that, the spite of the decorated formula job, has the understanding of what it is teaching. It is necessary, also, that the possibility exists to use them in the daily one in order to stimulate the will of learning of the student as well as its capacity to decide problems. It is intention of this work to develop cases and referring practical situations to the recognition of which it would be the best alternative to be used, when if it´s need itself to take decisions, through the methods: Liquid Present Value, Internal Tax of Return and Period of Recovery of Capital. The methodologicals processes involve the use of electronic spread sheet and of conventional resources of software in the financial resources, seen to present fast solutions, when used of rational form, and also of calculator HP 12C, wide used for financial agents in function of its practicality and comfort. The learning and the brainstorming can be constructed from organized simulation case to case, expressing itself of one forms generality the convenience of this type of boarding. The happened profits of this process result of a simple, functional and intelligent methodology, that allows to the student the development of the aptitude necessary to decide specific problems. / À medida que se observa o avanço tecnológico, que a geração nintendo dá início a seu ingresso no mercado de trabalho e os negócios acontecem em todo o mundo em tempo real, cumpre pensar em um sistema de educação que incorpore a tecnologia e a informática, atividades indispensáveis para enfrentar e atender a rapidez e a agilidade que o trabalho requer. É forçoso que professores integrem alunos e mercados, centrados nos problemas enfrentados e embasados na teoria e no elo existente entre o mundo do saber e o mundo do fazer. Entretanto, é com pesar que se constata a distância entre o conhecimento do conteúdo e a sua aplicação com as ferramentas disponíveis. Tratando-se de disciplinas que envolvam cálculos financeiros, é imprescindível que, a despeito do emprego de fórmulas decoradas, haja a compreensão do que se está ensinando. É preciso, também, que exista a possibilidade de utilizá-las no cotidiano a fim de estimular a vontade de aprender do educando, bem como sua capacidade de resolver problemas. É propósito deste trabalho desenvolver casos e situações práticas referentes ao reconhecimento de qual seria a melhor alternativa a ser utilizada, quando se precisar tomar decisões, através dos métodos: Valor Presente Líquido, Taxa Interna de Retorno e Período de Recuperação de Capital. Os processos metodológicos envolvem o uso de planilha eletrônica e o de recursos de software convencionais nos meios financeiros, visto apresentarem soluções rápidas, quando utilizados de forma racional, e também da calculadora HP 12C, largamente utilizada por agentes financeiros em função de sua praticidade e conforto. O aprendizado e a busca de soluções podem ser construídos a partir de simulação organizada caso a caso, expressando-se de uma forma geral a conveniência desse tipo de abordagem. Os ganhos advindos desse processo resultam de uma metodologia simples, funcional e inteligente, que permite ao aluno o desenvolvimento da aptidão necessária para resolver problemas específicos.
