Desde el 2013, las series web han evolucionado en el mercado peruano creando un espacio para nuevos proyectos audiovisuales independientes que abordan temáticas necesarias e importantes para la sociedad en muchos casos. Dichas temáticas incluyen la puesta en escena al movimiento social LGBT, en ese contexto, se ha tomado conocimiento de la relevancia que ha cobrado la exposición audiovisual del mencionado tema. De esta manera, el presente trabajo de investigación analiza el estudio de caso de la serie web peruana LGBT que lleva por nombre ¿Por qué no seguiste? El estudio hace uso de la metodología cualitativa de investigación y busca entender el imaginario socio audiovisual de los jóvenes consumidores de esta serie web, su percepción en base a este tipo de proyectos digitales y la importancia de esta temática desarrollada frente al contenido de los medios masivos de comunicación peruanos. / Since 2013, web series have evolved in the peruvian market creating a space for new independent audiovisual projects that address necessary and important issues for society in many cases. Such themes include the staging to the lgbt social movement, in that context, it has become aware of the relevance that has gained the audiovisual exposure of the aforementioned topic. Thus, this research work analyzes the case study of the peruvian lgbt web series ¿por qué no seguiste? The study makes use of qualitative research methodology and seeks to understand the socio-visual imaginary of young consumers of this web series, their perception based on this type of digital projects, and the importance of this theme developed against the content of the peruvian mass media. / Trabajo de investigación
