A área foi o objeto de estudo da presente dissertação de mestrado, onde foram mapeadas as rochas aflorantes em escala 1:5.000. Neste trabalho são apresentados os resultados dos estudos petrográficos das encaixantes, representadas essencialmente por seqüências vulcânicas intermediárias, havendo também a presença de rochas intrusivas de caráter básico. A paragênese mineral dos veios mineralizados também foi objeto de estudo deste trabalho. Devido à área estar localizada em uma região de intenso tectonismo, o estudo e a caracterização das diversas estruturas foi efetuado a fim de definir qual sua influencia no minério. O estudo de paleo-esforço também foi alvo desta dissertação a fim de melhor caracterização das tensões atuantes na área e definir um modelo tectônico para o depósito. Com o trabalho realizado foi possível individualizar melhor os litotipos, reconhecer um complexo arranjo estrutural formado por três famílias de fraturas distintas cuja cinemática das duas principais famílias (NE e SW) foram obtidas e distinguir que os dois sistemas de veios principais são gerados em eventos tectônicos distintos / In the city of Paran, Huaura province, Peru, occurs a deposit of Au and Cu, with epithermal character from médium to low sulphidation. The área was the object of study of this dissertation, where the outcrop rocks have been mapped in scale of 1:5.000. This master work presents the results of petrographic studies of hosted rocks of the mineralization, represented mainly by intermediate volcanic sequences, also with the presence of intrusive rocks of basic to intermediate character. The mineral paragenesis of the mineralized veins was also the subject of this study. Given the fact that the area is located in a region of intense tectonic plates, the study and characterization of various structures was carried out to define what is it influence in the ore. The study of paleo-stress was also the object of this dissertation in order to better characterize the stresses acting in the area and set a tectonic model for the deposit. In the end, it was possible to identify the best rock types, to recognize a complex structural arrangement consisting of three distinct fracture families whose kinematics of the two main fracture families (NE and SW) were obtained and it was possible to identify that both systems of veins were generated in different tectonic events
