Previous issue date: 2016-11-29 / Sem bolsa / Esta dissertação tem como objetivo de estudo analisar saberes elementares aritméticos prescritos para o ensino público primário do Estado do Maranhão a partir do modelo difundido na Escola Primária de São Paulo, no período de 1890-1895. Articula-se nesta configuração, as Leis, Decretos e Regulamentos do estado do Maranhão e São Paulo, procurando analisar e discutir aproximações sobre saberes entre os dois estados. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa com suporte na pesquisa bibliográfica e na pesquisa documental para compreensão da análise dos dados e resultados da realidade estudada. Consideraram-se os estudos dos historiadores Le Goff (1990; 1994); Certeau (1982;2013); Chervel (1990), Farias Filho (1998) e Valente (1999;2007;2013; 2014;2015) e autores maranhenses, como: Oliveira (1874); Viveiros (1953); Andrade (1982); Tribuzi (1981); Meireles (2001) e Saldanha (2008). A dissertação encontra-se estruturada em três capítulos: de início, as primeiras aproximações com o tema investigado, seguindo com o desenvolvimento dos capítulos. Apresentam-se as considerações finais, as referências, o apêndice com o guia de fontes para estudo da história da educação matemática e os anexos. Os resultados encontra dos evidenciam indícios/vestígios de aproximação de programas de ensino para a escola primária do Maranhão (MA) em relação à escola primária de São Paulo (SP). A investigação conclui uma proximidade de conteúdos, especificamente sobre os saberes elementares aritméticos entre os dois estados. A matéria Aritmética tem campo fértil nos programas para o ensino primário dos estados, envolvendo as quatro operações fundamentais; cálculos, nas relações de proporção, regra de três e valores percentuais / This dissertation aims to analyze arithmetic elementary knowledge prescribed for the primary public education of the State of Maranhão from the model disseminated in the Primary School of. In the period of 1890-1895. It articulates in this configuration, the Laws, Decrees and Regulations of the state of Maranhão and São Paulo, seeking to analyze and discuss approximations on knowledge between the two states. It is a qualitative research with support in bibliographical research and documentary research to understand the data analysis and results of the studied reality. We considered the studies of the historians Le Goff (1990; 1994); Certeau (1982; 2013); Chervel (1990), Farias Filho (1998) and Valente (1999, 2007, 2013, 2014, 2015) and authors from Maranhão, such as: Oliveira (1874); Nurseries (1953); Andrade (1982); Tribuzi (1981); Meireles (2001) and Saldanha (2008). The dissertation is structured in three chapters: first, the first approximations with the subject investigated, following with the development of the chapters. The final considerations, the references, the appendix with the source guide for studying the history of mathematics education and the annexes are presented. The results show evidences / traces of the approximation of teaching programs for the elementary school of Maranhão (MA) in relation to the elementary school of São Paulo (SP). The investigation concludes a proximity of contents, specifically about the elementary arithmetical knowledge between the two states. Arithmetic matter has a fertile field in the primary education programs of the states, involving the four fundamental operations; Calculations, proportion ratios, rule of three and percentage values
