Pol?ticas de educa??o profissional t?cnica e de ensino m?dio no Brasil: a implementa??o no CEFET-RN (1998 2008)

Previous issue date: 2010-07-23 / This study has analyzed the high school and professional education policies (1998-2008) and their impacts on the Centro Federal de Educa??o Tecnol?gica do Rio Grande do Norte. It has presented an analysis and design of the productive restructuring process in the world of work and education, the technical, vocational education and high school policies in Brazil, referring to this period, as well as the changes in Cefet-RN for implementation of Political Guidelines of Vocational, Technical and High School Education. This study is guided by assumptions related to these policies, which are located in different historical moments. It is a study in which subjects are understood as historical and social beings, embedded in the economic, political and cultural rights which, by its actions, can be transformed. It was based on a theoretical framework consistent with the object of research to give it shape and meaning, serving as a parameter to address the problem outlined in research questions. It was used analysis of bibliographical material and specific documents from the Institution, semi-structured interviews with the subjects part of technical and high school. Results show that many of the recommendations in the present high school policies and vocational technical and high school education, implemented in Cefet-RN, for the period 1998-2002, show inconsistencies between what is said and what can be officially established in the pedagogical practice of teachers and professional practice of some graduates. Regarding the integration of vocational education with the high school (2005-2008) in this Institution, the study signaled that its prioritization failed to materialize in full, in Cefet-RN, although it was developed and implemented a Political-Pedagogical Project in 2005 / Este trabalho analisa as pol?ticas de educa??o profissional e de ensino m?dio (1998-2008) e as suas repercuss?es no Centro Federal de Educa??o Tecnol?gica do Rio Grande do Norte. Apresenta uma an?lise e delineamento sobre o processo de reestrutura??o produtiva no mundo do trabalho e na educa??o, as pol?ticas de educa??o profissional t?cnica e de ensino m?dio no Brasil, referentes ao per?odo, as mudan?as ocorridas no Cefet-RN para implementa??o das Diretrizes Pol?ticas de Educa??o Profissional T?cnica e do Ensino M?dio. O presente estudo ? norteado por pressupostos relacionados a essas pol?ticas, situadas em momentos hist?ricos diferenciados. Trata-se de um estudo em que os sujeitos s?o compreendidos como seres hist?ricos e sociais, inseridos em conjunturas econ?micas, pol?ticas e culturais, que, por suas a??es, podem ser transformadas. Apoiou-se em um referencial te?rico coerente com o objeto de investiga??o para imprimir-lhe forma e significado, servindo de par?metro para tratar o problema delineado nas quest?es de pesquisa. Utilizou-se da an?lise de material bibliogr?fico e documentos espec?ficos da Institui??o, entrevistas semiestruturadas com os sujeitos integrantes do ensino m?dio e t?cnico. Os resultados evidenciam que a grande parte das recomenda??es presentes nas pol?ticas de ensino m?dio e de educa??o profissional t?cnica em n?vel m?dio, implementadas no Cefet-RN, correspondentes ao per?odo 1998 a 2002, apresentam contradi??es entre o que ? dito, oficialmente, e o que pode ser estabelecido na pr?tica pedag?gica dos professores e na pr?tica profissional de alguns egressos. Quanto ? integra??o da educa??o profissional com o ensino m?dio (2005-2008) na referida Institui??o, o estudo sinalizou que a sua prioriza??o n?o se efetivou, na ?ntegra, no Cefet-RN, embora tenha sido elaborado e implementado um Projeto Pol?tico-Pedag?gico em 2005
