Previous issue date: 2009 / Este trabalho buscou analisar e discutir desafios e possibilidades de transformação das práticas pedagógicas no curso de graduação em Nutrição da Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), tendo como referência a disciplina Prática Integrada, a partir de recente reformulação curricular. Apresenta um panorama da discussão sobre a organização curricular nos cursos de saúde, trata do caso específico da formação em Nutrição por meio de breve histórico e a caracterização do curso de Nutrição da UFF. Reflete sobre a importância das abordagens práticas no processo de ensino em saúde, considerando o caráter inovador da disciplina Prática Integrada. Considera como aspectos conceituais relevantes para transformação do ensino em saúde os conceitos de interdisciplinaridade e integralidade em saúde e a necessidade da abordagem dos aspectos relacionados à formação dos docentes quando de reformulações curriculares. Para essa última discussão, aborda também alguns estudos sobre formação docente, a questão do habitus e a construção de uma postura reflexiva, dando destaque para a trajetória docente como fator estruturante da prática pedagógica. Por fim, encerraremos o trabalho com algumas reflexões no intuito de subsidiar futuras discussões quanto à formação de nutricionistas. / This work aimed to analyze and discuss challenges and opportunities for transformation of pedagogical practices in the course of studies in Nutrition of Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) having as a reference the subject Integrated
Practice starting from a recent curriculum reform. The work presents an overall view of the
discussion about the curriculum organization in the Health Courses. It deals with the specific case of the formation in Nutrition in UFF. It reflects about the importance of practical means of tackling during the teaching process in Health area, taking into account the innovative characteristic of the Integrated Practice subject . This work considers as relevant conceptual aspects to the transformation of the teaching in the Health area the concepts interdisciplinarity and integrality and the need to deal with the aspects related to the formation of teachers when curriculum is being reformed. To this last discussion this work also deals with some studies concerning teacher’s formation, the issue of habitus and the building up of a thoughtful attitude, giving prominence to the teacher’s progression as a structural fact of the pedagogical practice. At last we will close the work with some reflections in order to sustain future discussions concerning the formation of nutritionists.
