Hur högläsning i klassrummet kan gynna språkinlärning och språkutveckling hos eleverna i åldrarna 6–10 år : En kunskapsöversikt / How reading aloud in the classroom benefit the language learning and develope it for pupils between the ages of 6 to 10

This study aimed to analyze scientific articles on reading aloud to see what the research says about the success factors in the classroom that affect ages six to ten years. To investigate the articles for the area of investigation, Eriksson-Barajas et al. (2013) were used as the starting point for the method. This method consisted of six steps: identifying the area of interest and defining keywords, deciding which criteria to use for this study, conducting searches in appropriate databases such as Primo and ERIC ProQuest, searching on your own, selecting relevant titles, and the final step is reading the entire articles and making a quality evaluation. As for the selection criteria, it contained articles that had relevant purposes and articles that are peer-reviewed. At the same time, annual spans were set to limit the search and language choices to facilitate reading. The results showed that reading-aloud is important for students language development and language learning, through it for the pupils greater vocabulary and better reading comprehension. One of the difficulties reading-aloud in the classroom turned out to be the lack of time. The results also showed that teachers used the reading aloud as a time-out instead of as part of the planning.
