The work refers to taking the pulse of aesthetic learning processes in preschool. What is defined as aesthetic learning processes? How much influence teachers' subject knowledge staging of aesthetic learning processes in preschool? Do the aesthetic learning processes mean that the body is seen as the main tool and starting point for all knowledge creation? By use of literature review, questionnaire and interview methods examined this closely. The survey shows that there is a certain imbalance in the teachers' subject knowledge connected to aesthetic expression. The art subject can be seen to have a head start when it comes to staging aesthetic learning processes in preschool.
