feelings concerning teenagers students indiscipline in the classroom. The gender
perspective formed the main subcategory of the problem to be researched. The
presented objectives were identify these teachers feelings, investigate the influence of
the social identities of gender in the showed feelings as well the instructors
expectations related to the indiscipline behavior in the classroom. It was interesting to
know how the different ways of teachers interventions were realized and felt
concerning the dialectic indiscipline/ discipline.
The principal category in the data discussion was the teachers feelings
concerning the indiscipline in the classroom. This category had two subcategories, the
feelings concerning the male teenager students indiscipline and the female students.
The data were analyzed according to Henry Wallon s theoretical reference.
According to him, the person is formed relating to diverse environments and is
structured by the integration of the affective, cognitive and motion functional powers.
The reference has provided elements which guided the researcher s focus in the feelings
investigation concerning the dialectic indiscipline/ discipline.
Four teachers from municipal elementary schools participated in the research.
Two of them, a man and a woman, have been teaching for around nine years, and the
other two have had a more than twenty year experience. / O foco principal da pesquisa foi a investigação dos sentimentos de professores e
professoras diante da indisciplina de alunos e alunas adolescentes em sala de aula. A
perspectiva de gênero constituiu-se subcategoria principal do problema a ser
pesquisado. Os objetivos que se apresentaram foram: identificar os sentimentos de
professores e professoras com relação à indisciplina, investigar a influência das
identidades sociais de gênero nos sentimentos evidenciados e nas expectativas docentes
com relação aos comportamentos considerados indisciplinados em sala de aula.
Interessou saber como eram percebidas e sentidas as diferentes formas de intervenção
que pautavam a conduta docente em relação ao par dialético indisciplina/disciplina.
Na discussão dos dados, as principais categorias foram: sentimentos de
professores com relação à indisciplina em sala de aula e sentimentos de professoras
com relação à indisciplina em sala de aula. Cada uma das categorias teve duas
subcategorias: sentimentos em relação ao aluno adolescente considerado indisciplinado
e sentimentos em relação à aluna adolescente considerada indisciplinada.
Os dados foram analisados à luz do referencial teórico de Henry Wallon, pois
neste referencial a pessoa constitui-se na relação com os diversos meios e se constrói a
partir da integração dos domínios funcionais: afetivo, cognitivo e motor. Este
referencial possibilitou elementos para nortear o olhar da pesquisadora na investigação
dos sentimentos diante do par dialético indisciplina- disciplina.
Participaram da pesquisa quatro professores (as) do ensino fundamental II da
rede municipal. Destes (as) dois de ambos os sexos tinham até nove anos na carreira
docente e dois com mais de vinte anos na carreira.
