Fundação de Amparo a Pesquisa no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul / The use of psychoactive substances represents a worrying health problem due to the increasing number of users of these substances, together with the social grievances arising from that consumption. This research aims to understand the reasons given by users of psychoactive substances seeking treatment at a Psychosocial Care Center Alcohol and Drugs. This is a research based on the Social Phenomenology of Alfred Schütz, made in a Psychosocial Care Center Alcohol and drugs, located in the central-western region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Participants in this study were users of psychoactive substances, aged 31to 58 years old who were undergoing treatment at the Psychosocial Care Center Alcohol and Drugs. The data production occurred in the period from March to June 2014, through the phenomenological interview recorded, which was ended when there were sufficient meanings. The comprehensive interpretation of the speeches was developed, in which the steps mentioned by an author of the nursing field that has been studying the Social Phenomenology of Alfred Schütz were used. The ethical aspects were respected according to the Resolution 466 of December 12th, 2012 by the National Health Council. In the comprehensive analysis of users' characteristic action of psychoactive substances seeking treatment, were unveiled concrete categories of lived of the reasons why and reasons for. Regarding the reasons why, two categories emerged: grievances in health; and social relationships. As to the reasons for, three categories emerged: intent to break the custom of the use of psychoactive substances; bearing in mind the (re)construction of their family relationships; expectation of getting back to society. It is hoped that this research provides subsidies for health professionals to review their practices in order to stimulate the strengthening of psychosocial care service network that emphasizes rehabilitation and social reintegration of the user. Thus, it is intended to contribute to the integration of the psychoactive substances user in the cultural milieu, articulated to the mental health network. / O uso de substâncias psicoativas representa um preocupante problema de saúde devido ao aumento crescente de usuários dessas substâncias, em conjunto com os agravos sociais oriundos desse consumo. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender os motivos atribuídos por usuários de substâncias psicoativas à procura de tratamento em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e Drogas . Trata-se de uma pesquisa fenomenológica à luz da Fenomenologia Social de Alfred Schütz, realizada em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e drogas, localizado na região centro-oeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Os participantes dessa pesquisa foram usuários de substâncias psicoativas, na faixa etária de 31 a 58 anos, que estavam em tratamento no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial Álcool e Drogas. A produção dos dados ocorreu no período de março a junho de 2014, por meio da entrevista fenomenológica gravada, a qual foi encerrada quando houve a suficiência de significados. Foi desenvolvida a interpretação compreensiva das falas, em que foram utilizados os passos referidos por uma autora da área da enfermagem que vem estudando a Fenomenologia Social de Alfred Schütz. Foram respeitados os aspectos éticos, conforme Resolução Nº 466, de 12 de dezembro de 2012 do Conselho Nacional de Saúde. Na análise compreensiva do típico da ação dos usuários de substâncias psicoativas que procuram tratamento, foram desveladas categorias concretas do vivido dos motivos porque e dos motivos para. Em relação aos motivos porque emergiram duas categorias: agravos na saúde; e, relacioamentos sociais. Quanto aos motivos para surgiram três categorias: intencionalidade de romper o costume do uso das substâncias psicoativas; Tendo em vista (re)construir suas relações familiares; expectativa de conseguir retorno à sociedade. Espera-se que a presente pesquisa forneça subsídios para os profissionais de saúde rever suas práticas assistenciais com vistas a estimular o fortalecimento da rede de assistência de atenção psicossocial, que enfatize a reabilitação e reinserção social do usuário. Desse modo, pretende-se contribuir com a integração do usuário de substâncias psicotivas no meio cultural, articulados à rede de saúde mental.
