Partindo de estudos anteriores que afirmam estarmos aí diante de um monólogo, este trabalho pretende – na direção oposta – sustentar que a longa fala de Riobaldo carrega indícios conversacionais que apontam para a ocorrência de uma interlocução, ou seja, para a presença real de um Interlocutor, cuja voz aí transparece em forma de eco. Assim, faz-se, aqui, um rastreamento dos sinais conversacionais que delimitam os papéis dos dois interlocutores, bem como um delineamento do perfil do Interlocutor, tudo com o intuito de demonstrar a realidade dialógica da obra. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / We privilege, on this dissertation, the analysis of the conversational interaction which occurs in the novel Grande sertão: veredas, by João Guimarães Rosa. From previous studies which support that such novel displays a monologue to the reader, our study intends, on the contrary, to support that the long speech of Riobaldo brings conversational evidences which point to the occurrence of an Interlocutor whose voice is revealed as an echo. This study, thus, traces the conversational indications which mark out the role of the interlocutors as well as outlines the Interlocutor’s profile, so that it can be demonstrated the dialogic reality of the work.
