Previous issue date: 2001 / Resumo: Essa tese de doutorado tem o objetivo de efetuar um estudo de caso referente ao atendimento de um grupo de psicoterapia realizado com crianças em idade escolar, no contexto institucional do Ambulatório de Saúde Mental Infantil do Hospital das Clínicas da Unicamp. Para o atendimento do grupo estudado, utilizou-se a técnica de psicoterapia
infantil de abordagem psicodinâmica, adaptada à condição de trabalho grupal e às circunstâncias institucionais. Nesse estudo de caso, foram analisados os seguintes aspectos técnicos referentes ao funcionamento desse grupo: o enquadre terapêutico, a expressão das fantasias infantis inconscientes no grupo, a interpretação terapêutica e a relação
transferencial. Durante a consecução dessa pesquisa, foram utilizados os paradigmas e pressupostos das ciências humanas, empregando-se método qualitativo e alguns pressupostos do método clínico. Os procedimentos realizados foram a observação participante e entrevistas semi-estruturadas, empreendendo o tratamento de dados por meio da compreensão e interpretação do material, segundo o modelo compreensivista e hermenêutico. Ao considerar os resultados, pode-se constatar que o brincar interativo age como facilitador da emergência de emoções de natureza inconsciente, o que propiciou a oportunidade do trabalho psicoterapêutico no grupo estudado. Foram feitas algumas considerações sobre os principais pontos teóricos e técnicos pertinentes ao tema, com o intuito de contribuir para a elucidação, compreensão e organização da prática clínica da psicoterapia de grupo com criança, como uma abordagem psicodinâmica possível para o tratamento psicológico infantil / Abstract: This doctoral thesis has the objective of undertaking a case study referring to attending to a psychotherapy group of school age children in the institutional context of the Out-patient Clinic of Infantile Mental Health at the General Hospital of Unicamp (State University of Campinas). The attention given to the group studied used the psychotherapy technique of
the psycho-dynamic approach, adapted to the condition of group work and other institutional circumstances. In this case study, the following technical aspects referring to the functioning of the group were analyzed: the therapeutic frame of reference, the
unconscious expression of infantile fantasies in the group, the therapeutic interpretation and the transference relation. During the execution ofthis study, paradigms and presuppositions of the human sciences were utilized, employing the qualitative method and some presuppositions of the clinical method. The procedures involved participated observation and semi-structured interviews, attempting to deal with the data by means ofunderstanding and interpreting the material according to the comprehension and hermeneutic model. Considering the results, it can be said that interactive play acts as a facilitator for the emergence of feelings of an unconscious nature; this favored the opportunity of psychotherapeutic work in the group studied. Some considerations about the principal theoretical and technical points pertinent to the theme were made with the intention of contributing to the elucidation, understanding and organization of group psychotherapy clinical practice with the child as a possible psycho-dynamic approach for infantile psychological treatment / Doutorado / Saude Mental / Doutor em Ciências Médicas
