Förskolan ligger i ett lugn bostadskvarter i Solnas Vasalund. Förskolans byggnad ligger på södra ändan av tomten och huset bildas av tre huskroppar: en avdelningsdel, en korridors del i mitten samt en funktionell del - med barnens entré på plan 2, ateljé på plan 3 samt en samlingsrum Piazza på översta våningen. Hela den första våningen med egen ingång från Charlottenburgsvägen i sydvästra ändan av tomten är tillägnat åt personalen, köket och drift. Barnen har tillgång till förskolans tre översta våningar från plan 2 med en ingång från Gustafsvägen på östra sidan av tomten. Byggnaden har fyra våningar, barnavdelningar är på våning 2, 3 & 4 - en avdelning med 12-14 barn per våning. Barnen är uppdelade i grupper per deras ålder, en grupp för barn 1-2 år, andra för 3-4 åringar och tredje för 4-5 åringar. Äldsta barnens avdelning är på plan 2 och yngsta barnens avdelning är högst upp på plan 4. De yngsta barnen sover ute på balkongen i sina barnvagnar ostörda från det som händer nere på gården, medan de äldsta barnen har gården direkt tillgänglig från deras våning. Korridoren inomhus blir en lekplats för barnen då de kan åka rutschkana ned istället för att använda trappan. Det finns ett lågt fönster i rutschkanas riktning så att barnen kan ta en titt utåt mot gatan medan de åker ned för rutschkanan, men även så att de som passerar huset från Gustafsvägen får se lekande barn bakom fönstret. / The preschool is located on a quiet residential area in the Vasalund neighborhood in Solna. The preschool building is located on the south end of the lot and the house is formed by three building parts: a classroom part, a corridor part in the middle, and a functional part - with the children's entrance on the second floor, an atelier on the third floor and an activity center "Piazza" on the top floor. The first floor with its own entrance from Charlottenburgsvägen in the southwest end of the site is houses the staff rooms, kitchen and service. The children have access to the three top floors of the building from the second floor entrance from Gustafsvägen on the east side of the lot. The building has four floors, the classrooms are on floors 2, 3 & 4 - one group of 12-14 children on each floor.The children are divided into groups by age, 1-2 year-olds in one, 3-4 year-olds in second and 4-5 year-olds in third group. The oldest children's classroom is on the second floor and the youngest children's classroom is on top floor. The youngest children sleep outside on the balcony in their prams undisturbed from happenings down on the playground, while the oldest children have the playground directly accessible at same floor as their classroom. The corridor becomes an indoor playground where the children can choose to go down the slide instead of using the stairs. There is a low window in the direction of the slide so that the children can take a look outside toward the street while they go down the slide, but also so that those who pass the building from Gustafsvägen get to see the children playing behind the window.
