In this dispute, this church attributes to the demon the guilt of all males of the humanity, as well as it demonizes the African and spirit religiosity, as well as the Catholicism, historical Protestantism and too much religiosities. Of this form, through its rituals it obtains to Biblically legitimize to the symbolic goods of African and spirit religiosity visas as demonic, it providing to its members a new felt for the life that if it evidences through the achievement of job, marriage, health and prosperity, after a long process of release. Thus, with the charismatic leadership of Edir Macedo, the proposal Stops to Suffer and its capacity to explore the magical mentality of the Brazilian people, he obtains from a small funerary one to construct exuberant Cathedrals of Faith that it spreads in Brazil and the world, as a consequence of the pragmatism of its doctrine. / Esta pesquisa analisou os bens simbólicos afro-espíritas que foram ressignificados pela Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus, após transgredir fronteiras simbólicas existentes entre essas
religiosidades, causando um grande alarido ao oferecer ordinariamente esses bens nas sessões de descarrego e nas reuniões de libertação , inserindo-se fortemente no conflituoso mercado religioso brasileiro, tão fortemente marcado por seu pluralismo. Nessa disputa, essa igreja atribui ao demônio a culpa de todos os males da humanidade, como também demoniza a religiosidade afro-espírita, assim como o catolicismo, protestantismo histórico e demais religiosidades. Dessa forma, através de seus rituais consegue legitimar biblicamente os bens simbólicos afro-espíritas vistos como demoníacos, proporcionando a sua membresia um novo sentido de vida que se evidencia através da consecução de emprego, casamento, saúde e prosperidade, após um longo processo de libertação. Assim, com a liderança carismática de Edir Macedo, a proposta Pare de Sofrer e a sua capacidade de explorar a mentalidade mágica do povo brasileiro, consegue a partir de uma pequena funerária construir exuberantes Catedrais de Fé espalhadas no Brasil e no mundo, como reflexo do pragmatismo de sua doutrina.
