Previous issue date: 2015 / A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise dos aspectos linguísticos do estilo de Guimarães Rosa: lexicais, sintáticos, morfológicos e retóricos, e poéticos representados através das particularidades da linguagem diferenciada em Grande Sertão: Veredas, e nas soluções encontradas pelos tradutores. O autor eleva o nível do puramente discursivo a um degrau superior da expressividade com a utilização de recursos estilísticos, as figuras de lingua-gem; essas construções revelam-se diferenciadoras com respeito à prosa tradici-onal. O processo de criação de palavras e a renovação de outras já em desuso, a inclusão de um novo significado em termos já existentes ou procedentes de outras línguas, ou seja, ressemantização, os denominados neologismos que fazem parte importante da obra do romancista. A sintaxe é, sem dúvida, a con-tribuição estilística mais original e diferenciada, com raiz na oralidade do sertão mineiro e na pena criativa do escrito. Na sequência, analisam-se as soluções encontradas pelos tradutores ao viés das reflexões tradutórias de Antoine Ber-man e F. Schleiermacher. O corpus constitui-se do romance e das duas tradu-ções para a língua espanhola: a primeira versada pelo poeta espanhol Ángel Crespo, publicada com o título Gran Sertón: Veredas, em 1967; foi selecionada para esta pesquisa a segunda edição de 1982. A retradução ao espanhol foi realizada pelos professores argentinos Florencia Garramuño e Gonzalo Aguilar e publicada em 2009, com o mesmo título: Gran Sertón: Veredas; foi escolhida para o presente trabalho a edição de 2011. / Abstract : This research aims to present an analysis of the linguistics aspects of Guimarães Rosa style: lexical, syntactic, morphological, and rhetorical and poetic, repre-sented through the particularities of the different language in Grande Sertão: Veredas (The Devil to Pay in the Backlands), as well as in the solutions found by the translators. The author raises the level of simply discourse to a superior degree of expression with the use of stylistic appeals, the figures of speech; these structures are considered differentiators as regards the traditional prose. The process of creating words and the renewal of disused ones, the inclusion of new meanings to existing terms or to terms that come from other languages, that is, resemantization, the so-called neologism are important elements of the nov-elist's work. The syntax is undoubtedly the most original and different stylistic contribution, which is settled in the oral tradition of Minas Gerais' backland, and in the creative pen of the writer. Next, the solutions found by the transla-tors are analyzed to the bias of translational reflections of Antoine Berman and F. Schleiermacher. The corpus is constituted of the novel and its transla-tions to Spanish: the first version was written by the Spanish poet, Ángel Cre-spo, published under the title Gran Sertón: Veredas, in 1967; to this research, the second edition of 1982 was selected. The retranslation to Spanish was pro-duced by the Argentinean professors, Florencia Garramuño and Gonzalo Agui-lar, and published in 2009 under the same title: Gran Sertón: Veredas; to this research, the 2011 edition was chosen.
