Previous issue date: 2011 / Resumo: A proposta deste trabalho é investigar e compreender a clínica fonoaudiológica em sua particularidade e em sua forma. Nesta investigação, nos fundamentamos, em boa parte, no quadro teórico da análise do discurso, que tem origem nos trabalhos de M. Pêcheux e nos desenvolvimentos dessa teoria no Brasil por E. Orlandi. Em nossa presente reflexão, elaboramos um texto que discute a clínica fonoaudiológica como espaço simbólico e ideológico com lugar próprio na cidade, produzindo a sua significância. Para tanto, fizemos em nosso trabalho uma pesquisa acerca da constituição da Fonoaudiologia enquanto disciplina prático-científico-reabilitadora, estando afetada pela medicina, pela psicologia e pela lingüística, pelo seu espaço de origem (a escola) e pelo espaço da clínica. Com a formulação de um corpus próprio da configuração da clínica fonoaudiológica - objeto de intervenção, sujeito, ferramentas e métodos ?, pensamos a sua singularidade, compreendendo o funcionamento desta clínica num espaço próprio, e desvelando os seus componentes. Acreditamos que o percurso desta pesquisa contribui não somente para a compreensão do lugar da fonoaudiologia em paralelo às demais clínicas médicas e terapêuticas como disciplina científica, como também, a elaboração do seu corpus colabora com o arquivo da disciplina fonoaudiologia / Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate and understand the clinical practice in its particularity and in its form. In this investigation, we considered, mostly the theoretical framework of discourse analysis, after the work of M. Pêcheux and the posterior developments of this theory in Brazil by E. Orlandi. In our present discussion, we elaborate a text that discusses the clinical practice as a symbolic and ideological space with its own role in the city, giving rise to its significance. For this purpose, we research on the constitution of Speech Therapy as a discipline of scientific/practical rehabilitation and the effects of medicine, psychology and linguistics at its source space (the school) and at the clinic. With the formulation of speech therapy own frame of clinic settings - the object of intervention, subject, tools and methods - we establish its uniqueness, including the operation of the clinic in its own space, and unveiling of its components. We believe that this research contributes to understand the place of speech therapy along other medical and therapeutic approachs as a scientific discipline, as well the development of its own frame of work with the records of the speech therapy discipline / Doutorado / Linguistica / Doutor em Linguística
