I detta examensarbete har fyra läroböcker i fysik för gymnasieskolan analyserats för att se hur dessa överensstämmer med ämnesplanen i fysik och läroplanen för gymnasieskolan. Analysen har gjorts utifrån ett eget utvecklat analysverktyg som utgått ifrån det centrala innehållet i ämnesplanen, men även de kunskaper och förmågor i läroplanen som anses kunna visualiseras i en lärobok. Som ett komplement till analysen av läroböckerna intervjuades även två läroboksförfattare för att ge en inblick i hur styrande ämnesplanen och läroplanen är vid utvecklandet av en lärobok. Analysen tillsammans med intervjuerna visar på att ämnesplanen och det centrala innehållet är starkt styrande över innehållet i läroböckerna. Däremot förbises läroplanens kunskaper och förmågor, som analysen fokuserat på, i större utsträckning då läroboksförfattarna inte anser att dessa lämpar sig för en lärobok. / Four physics textbooks have, within the framework of this thesis, been analysed in order to see how well they correspond to the curriculum. The analysis was carried out using a self-developed tool, which is based on the core content and required abilities listed in the curriculum. As a compliment to the analysis two interviews, with textbook authors, were also conducted in order to gain their view on what role the curriculum plays when constructing a textbook. The analysis together with the interviews show that the core content in the curriculum strongly influence the content in the textbooks. Some of the abilities that the curriculum lists are overlooked, because the textbook author considered them not to be suitable for a textbook.
