Ledningssystem : En studie om faktorer som påverkar användandet av ledningssystem

In today's modern technical world there are numerous ways for IT-systems to increase an organizations effectiveness through digitalization. Effective business management requires an effective, efficient, and flexible management system. Management systems are widely used in organizations for creating order, assuring performance, and managing an organization’s knowledge. A management system aims to describe how an organization handles its business, routines, and is a tool for the management to manage the organization. A successfully implemented management system will furthermore make it easier for management to decide on necessary changes. This study is concerned with the identification of factors that contribute and affect the usage of management systems in an organization. This is accomplished through a combination of qualitative interviews, surveys, and a literature study. The literature study resulted in a few key areas that has been shown to affect an organizations usage of an implemented management system. These were Intranet and integration, Communication, Corporate culture and management, Education, Accessibility, Certification, User acceptance and System usability, Ease of use and usability. This study aims to broaden the knowledge on the subject and investigate which factors can influence the use of management systems. The identified factors that the study results in are Education, Ease of use, Updated and complete information, Adaptability, Accessibility, Attitude towards management systems, Motivation, and communication, Updated and complete information, Education, Ease of use and user acceptance and Role-based.  We deem that the factors updated and complete information and role-based contribute to the selected area of research. Further research had advantageously strengthened the newly identified factors to be able to determine if they negatively or positively affect the usage of management systems.
