A current question in organizational research is whether organizational culture is important for job satisfaction. But the research is ambiguous in the connection between organizational culture and job satisfaction. The purpose of the current survey was to examine the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction in preschools around Sweden. In this study, a quantitative survey is conducted to determine whether organizational culture coincides with how the staff experiences job satisfaction. In this study Denison culture survey (DOCS) is used, and an index of the Copenhagen psychosocial questionnaire (COPSOQ-III) for job satisfaction. The result showed a connection between two of the culture dimensions in DOCS: Involvement and Mission, while Consistency and Adaptability have no connection with job satisfaction. Thus, the study shows that organizational culture has a certain connection with job satisfaction and that these dimensions can affect the result in different ways.
