Cultural Route, where it seeks to disseminate the regional culture by selecting a set
of artistic, cultural and natural elements of the region. The object of this research is
the Paths of the Cold - Cultural Route in the microregion of the heath in the state of
Paraíba. Through this perspective is necessary to understand that the scripts are a
sequence of activities that demand a certain set tourist experience and what are
those reasons that guided the choice of script, among other possible central
elements in the construction of tourist routes. Thus, the research problem is to
understand how is the process of regional tourism development in the microregion of
the Brejo from the Project Paths Cold - Cultural Route. The overall objective of the
research is to analyze the relationship between the representations and actions of
different agents involved in Rota Cultural Paths Cold and its implications for regional
tourism development. The methodology used in the research was qualitative and the
method was discourse analysis (LEFÈVRE & LEFÈVRE, 2005) and social
representations from the work of Moscovici (2009). The agents searched are the
institutional agents, such as Sustainable Tourism Forum and the Heath Paraiba
SEBRAE; the departments of tourism and culture of the cities of Sand, Banana,
Sawmill, Alagoa Grande, New Alagoa and pylons; the PBTUR; associations and
entrepreneurs in the region linked with Route Paths Cold. The relevance of this
research is to meet regional development originated from the cultural tourism through
the Paths of the Cold project - Cultural Route as well as the connection between
social representations, actions and relationships between the different actors
involved in the construction process Route. Was analyzed, the geographic area of
the heath is a space that is being reconstructed from its cultural and economic
potential for tourism development, social representations of agents and actions
aimed at tourism development. Was completed in the research, the Heath is an area

at tourism development. / Um dos caminhos para o desenvolvimento regional na microrregião do Brejo
Paraibano é o evento Caminhos do Frio - Rota Cultural, onde se busca disseminar a
cultura regional selecionando um conjunto de elementos artísticos, culturais e
naturais da região. O objeto desta pesquisa é os Caminhos do Frio - Rota Cultural
na microrregião do Brejo no Estado da Paraíba. Através dessa perspectiva é
necessário compreender que os roteiros são uma seqüência de atividades que
procura configurar uma determinada experiência turística e que são essas razões
que orientaram a escolha desse roteiro, entre outros possíveis elementos centrais na
construção de rotas turísticas. Desta forma, o problema da pesquisa é de
compreender como se dá o processo de desenvolvimento turístico regional na
microrregião do Brejo Paraibano a partir do Projeto Caminhos do Frio - Rota Cultural.
O objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar as relações existentes entre as
representações e ações dos distintos agentes envolvidos na Rota Cultural Caminhos
do Frio e suas implicações para o desenvolvimento turístico regional. A metodologia
utilizada na pesquisa foi a qualitativa e o método foi a análise do discurso (LEFÈVRE
& LEFÈVRE, 2005) e das representações sociais a partir da obra de Moscovici
(2009). Os agentes de pesquisa são, os Agentes Institucionais, como o Fórum do
Turismo Sustentável do Brejo paraibano e o Sebrae; as secretarias de turismo e
cultura dos municípios de Areia, Bananeiras, Serraria, Alagoa Grande, Alagoa Nova
e Pilões; a PBTur; as associações e empresários da região vinculados com a Rota
Caminhos do Frio. A relevância desta pesquisa está em conhecer o
desenvolvimento regional originado a partir do turismo cultural através do projeto
Caminhos do Frio - Rota Cultural, bem como a ligação entre as representações
sociais, as ações e as relações existentes entre os distintos agentes envolvidos no
processo de construção da Rota. Foi analisado, que o espaço geográfico do Brejo é
um espaço que está sendo reconstruído a partir de suas potencialidades culturais e
econômicas para o desenvolvimento do turismo, das representações sociais dos
agentes e das ações destinadas ao desenvolvimento turístico. Foi concluída na
pesquisa, que o Brejo é um espaço que está sendo reconstruído a partir de suas
