Previous issue date: 2013 / Resumo: Esta tese percorre a constituição histórica da relação trabalho e educação como o caminho da investigação que nos leva à compreensão da forma pela qual o homem produz e reproduz sua existência, enfatizando que a indissociabilidade dessa relação está na práxis do homem como ser prático e social - logo, sujeito da sua própria história. A tese compreende que o processo histórico deve ser investigado de forma científica e objetiva, e o conhecimento é produzido pelo homem comprometido com sua classe e com seu tempo, considerando as determinações sociais. Entende, ainda, que os estudos da relação trabalho e educação, voltados, especificamente, para o posto de trabalho, ocultam o processo de formação da subjetividade e descaracterizam a identidade do trabalhador, pois estão permeados pelos mecanismos ideológicos do capitalismo na contemporaneidade. Somente a análise das fontes diretas caracterizadas pela fala do trabalhador, presente em todos os atos de compreensão e de interpretação da realidade por ele exposta, pode desvelar todo esse processo. Nesta investigação, a saúde, o trabalho e a educação se definem num contexto histórico, de acordo com as formas de organização social da produção. As alterações na configuração do trabalho, com a introdução de novas tecnologias no setor produtivo se refletem também no setor de serviços e, indiretamente, na gestão e na organização do processo de trabalho em saúde. Novos conceitos operacionais, criados pela sociedade do conhecimento - como flexibilidade, trabalho em equipe, empregabilidade, formação flexível e polivalente -, estabelecem um novo elo na relação trabalho e educação. Por isso, a urgência de acumular competências para valorizar a força de trabalho, o que transforma a educação em mercadoria com todos os atributos de um fetiche, pois ela vislumbra a mobilidade social sem reconhecer a condição de classe. Este estudo considera que a formação politécnica compreendida como a aquisição dos conhecimentos técnico-científicos do processo produtivo, amplia o domínio intelectual do trabalhador para uma ação transformadora. / Abstract: This thesis work pervades the historical constitution of the relationship between work and education, and it serves as a path to the investigation which leads us to the understanding of how human beings are capable of producing and reproducing their own existence. It stresses the idea that the indissociability of this relationship resides in the praxis of humans as practical and social beings and hence subject to their own history. The thesis understands that the historical process occurs in a scientific and objective way and, also, that knowledge is produced by a mankind committed to their class and to their time in observance of social willpower. It also understands that the studies on the relationship between work and education that are purely aimed at job posts omit the subjectivity process and then override worker's identity once these studies are permeated by the ideological mechanisms of capitalism in contemporaneity. Only the analysis of direct sources, characterized by the worker's speech which is part of all his/her acts of reality comprehension and interpretation, allows us to disclose the whole process. In this investigation, health as long as work and education are defined within a historical context according to the social organization of production. The changes to work configuration by means of the insertion of new technologies into the production segment are reflected in the services segment; and, indirectly, in the management and organization of health work processes. New operational concepts, created by the "knowledge society" - such as: flexibility, teamwork, employability, multitasked graduation - have established a new bond to the relationship between work and education. This explains the urgency in gathering competencies in order to improve the workforce, causing education to turn into goods with all the features of a fetish as it catches a glimpse of the social mobility, without acknowledging class condition. This study reckons that the polytechnic graduation, understood here as the acquisition of the technical-scientific knowledge of the productive process, enlarges worker's intellectual dominion towards transforming action. / Doutorado / Filosofia e História da Educação / Doutor em Educação
