Previous issue date: 2014 / A literatura infantojuvenil pode trazer, na maioria das vezes, desafios ainda maiores para o tradutor, vez que tendo que lidar com uma multiplicidade de demandas, ainda exige-se dele, o tradutor, a sua invisibilidade no texto. Ainda que seu nome não figure no texto, mesmo que não haja evidência da sua existência, ele estará marcado através de sua presença discursiva no texto (implícita ou explicitamente), o que Hermans (1996 a/b) denomina "voz do tradutor". Este trabalho propõe investigar a voz da tradutora Clarice Lispector em livros infantojuvenis do gênero aventura. Para a realização de tal iniciativa foi compilado um corpus paralelo no par linguístico inglês - português brasileiro composto pelas obras The call of the wild/Chamado selvagem, de Jack London e Gulliver's travels/Viagens de Gulliver, de Jonathan Swift e The talisman/O talismã, de Walter Scott através das quais se pretende discutir a presença discursiva do tradutor. A análise de sete estratégias de tradução indicadas através de uma classificação heurística é o meio hipotetizado para se chegar à manifestação da voz da tradutora. A pesquisa também intenta verificar a ocorrência de padrões no corpus investigado. Este trabalho se ampara nos pressupostos dos Estudos Descritivos da Tradução (Toury, 1995; 2012), voz do tradutor, de Hermans (1996 a/b), Schiavi (1996), Baker (2000) e O'Sullivan (2006) e nos estudos com base em corpora (Baker, 1993; 1995; 1996; 1999).<br> / Abstract: Children's literature reveals most of the time even greater challenges for the translator. Even having to deal with a number of requirements, the translator is also required to be invisible in the text. Although his/her name does not appear in the text, even if there is no evidence of his/her existence, he/she will be marked by his/her discursive presence in the text (implicitly or explicitly), so called translator's voice (Hermans, ibid.). The aim of this thesis is to analyze the voice of the translator Clarice Lispector in translated children's adventure literature books. For this purpose a parallel corpus was compiled in the language pair English-Brazilian Portuguese constituted by The call of the wild/Chamado selvagem, by Jack London and Gulliver's travels/Viagens de Gulliver by Jonathan Swift and The Talisman/The Talisman, by Walter Scott through which we intend to discuss the discursive presence of the translator. The analysis of seven translation strategies indicated by a heuristic classification is the means hypothesized to identify the translator's voice. This work also intends to verify the occurrence of patterns in the investigated corpus. This work supports the assumptions of Descriptive Translation Studies (Toury, 1995; 2012), translator's voice, Hermans (19996 a / b), Schiavi (1996), Baker (2000) and O'Sullivan (2006) and corpus-based studies (Baker, 1993; 1995; 1996; 1999).
