The aim of this thesis is to examine how three teachers and three pupils reflect of learning style in the teaching of Swedish language. The teachers are asked to reflect of their work with learning styles in their teaching in the Swedish language. Furthermore, this thesis contains three pupils´ reflections of their learning styles and how they experience that these are taken in recognition in the teaching in Swedish language. In order to examine this, a semi structured interview has been the choice of the qualitative method. This thesis shows that the teachers´ definition of learning styles is very similar to each other, even though the usage of it in their teaching vary. One of teachers aims to look at what links the students in their learning, rather than what separates them from their each other. This perspective on learning is very unlike one of the other teachers who claims her teaching in the Swedish language is based on her students´ different learning styles. Furthermore, the students are well aware of their learning styles and their experience of how their learning styles is part of the teaching in the Swedish language vary.
