Närproducerad odling är en trend som växer sig allt starkare och visar sig bland annat i form av stadsodlingar på tak och balkonger. Då det är begränsat med utrymme att odla på i städer är vertikala odlingar en alternativ lösning. I den här rapporten presenteras ett gestaltningsförslag av ett vertikalt växthus som ett bostadskomplement. Gestaltningen, byggtekniken och klimatet i växthuset är de områden som präglar dess form och tekniska lösningar. Växthuset har placerats på Haningeterrassen, ett bostadsområde under planeringför vilket olika skisser på kretsloppsanpassade växthus har tagits fram. Syftet var att ta fram ett förslag på hur ett växthus som bostadskomplement kan utformas, anpassas till platsen och bidra till en grönare stadsdel. Genom en platsanalys har ett lämpligt flerbostadshus valts som referenshus för projektet. Arbetet resulterade i ett förslag på ett vertikalt växthus som har kopplats till bostadshuset och ger de boende ett växthus i direkt anslutning till sin lägenhet. Växthuset är uppbyggt av moduler som alla är lika och utgör ett våningsplan var. Våningsplanet har en rund planlösning och ger då ett vertikalt växthus i form av en cylinder. Den omslutande väggen består till en tredjedel av en tung bärande vägg och resterande av ett öppningsbart glasparti. Ett flertal växthus placeras kontinuerligt utefter fasaden och kopplas till lägenheterna med en kort bro. De boende får med den här komplementbyggnaden en möjlighet att ta ett steg ut till sitt eget privata växthus vilket även kan användas som balkong eller lusthus. Att växthuset har fler funktioner ökar möjligheterna kring dess användningsområde och därmed även dess efterfrågan. Att komplettera ett flerbostadshus med detta växthus kan inspirera till ett kretsloppstänk hos de boende. Detta bidrar i sin tur till att göra Haningeterrassen till ett grönare område. / Local cultivation is a fast growing trend which is seen particularly in the form of urban farms on rooftops and balconies. As there is a limited amount of space for cultivation in the cities vertical greenhouses is an option. This report presents a proposition of a vertical greenhouse as a housing complement. The design, construction and installations in the greenhouse are the areas that characterize the shape and the technical solutions for the building. The vertical greenhouse has been located on Haningeterrassen, a planned area where various sketches on ecocyclic greenhouses has been developed during the planning of the area. The purpose of this project was to develop a proposition on how a greenhouse as a housing complement can be modeled, adapted to the scene and contribute to a healthier urban environment. By doing a site analysis on the area a suitable apartment building where selected to act as a reference object to the project.The project resulted in a proposition of a vertical greenhouse connected to an apartment building that gives the tenants personal access to an own private greenhouse. The greenhouse is built of equal modules that are compounded and each represents a floor plan. The planning is in the shape of a circle which creates a vertical greenhouse in the shape of a cylinder. The enclosing walls are partly structural and partly made of glass. Multiple greenhouses are placed continuously along the façade and are connected to the apartment by a short bridge. The tenants connected with these greenhouses have the opportunity to take a short step outside into their own private greenhouse that can also be used as a balcony or a gazebo. As the greenhouse in this case have multiple functions surrounding its use the possibilities increases, thus do the demand. Applying this greenhouse to the home can inspire the tenants to take recycling in to consideration. This contribution will help shaping Haningeterrassen to a healthier urban environment.
