Syftet med arbetet var att undersöka pedagogernas inställning till lek i skolans lägre årskurser. Vidare att belysa lekens betydelse för den kognitiva utveckling och hur pedagogerna använder leken i sitt dagliga arbete.Metodern är en kvalitativ, halvstrukturerad forskningsintervju med hermeneutisk inriktning och bygger på intervjuer med sex pedagoger. Jag redovisar intervjuerna i fyra olika teman, som kom fram under analysen av intervjuerna.Sammanfattningsvis pekar resultaten av min undersökning på att samtliga pedagoger är positit inställda till att lek och kopplar leken till den kognitiva utvecklingen. / The purpose of the paper is to look into the teatchers view of the play in the lower grades of school. Further to see the meaning of play, to develope cognitive developement and to see the way educationalists use the paly in their ordinary work.The methode is a quality, half structured research interviews are built upon interviews with six educationalists. I show the six interviews, with four themes, in the analys of the interviews, in the paper.The results in my paper shows that the six educationalists have an optimistic point of view towards play och they connect the play to the cognitive education and developement.The key words are : cognitive developement, learn, lust, play, school
