Gemensamma operationer : Integration som nyckel?

Joint operations dominate the Western military discourse and are how future warfare is envisioned to be fought. What generates operational success in joint operations? This study explores whether integration in joint operations explains operational success through a comparative case study of operation Blessed Ramadan 1982 and operation Abirei-Lev in 1973. The study concludes that integration appears to generate the expected synergies through the complementary use of the services and that this contributes to operational success. This implies that measures to increase integration in armed forces are relevant.
