Darbo tikslas : Pasirinktoje Klaipėdos uosto teritorijoje greta miesto branduolio piliavietės įvykdyti konversiją, pritaikant jas miesto bendruomenės ir jo svečių poreikiams, seniausioje miesto dalyje atkurti buvusius funkcinius ir emocinius miesto bei vandens ryšius, sutvarkyti esamas bei projektuojamas viešąsias erdves ir jas įkomponuoti miesto urbanistiniame audinyje. Be minėtų viešųjų erdvių integravimo, reikia suformuoti reprezentacinį uosto veidą, kuris atspindėtų ekonominę bei socialinę miesto padėtį ir būtų uosto struktūros pamatas.
