Bakgrund: Vården ska utgå ifrån att varje patient kräver individanpassad vård. Patientens behov och berättelse är grunden för en delaktighet i vården. Arbetet kring patienten ska ske personcentrerat vilket ställer krav på arbetssätt och vårdens utformning. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva patientens upplevelse av bedsiderapportering mellan arbetsskift inom akutsjukvård. Metod: En allmän litteraturöversikt användes som metod. Databaserna CINAHL och PubMed användes för att söka artiklar. Även manuella sökningar gjordes för att besvara syftet. Totalt valdes 15 artiklar ut till resultatet. Dessa artiklar granskades genom Sophiahemmets modifierad granskningsmall för att klassificera och kvalitetsbedöma artiklarna. En integrerad analys genomfördes av artiklarna som därefter kodades och sammanställdes. Återkommande innehåll i resultat artiklarna skapade teman som sedan summerades till ett resultat. Resultat: Artiklarna som presenteras i resultatet är publicerade under åren 2011-2020. Resultatet delades in i två teman med fyra respektive tre underkategorier. Patientens upplevelse av bedsiderapportering och patientens upplevelse av information vid bedsiderapportering. Under dessa teman skapades fem kategorier, att bli lyssnad på, den deltagande rollen, sekretess, den personliga kontakten och vikten av tillräcklig information. Slutsats: Slutsatsen var att bedsiderapportering inom akutsjukvården är viktig för att patienten ska uppmuntras vara delaktig i vården. Patienter kände sig sedda och får en bättre följsamhet till vården. Det bidrar till en ökad patientsäkerhet och mindre vårdskador. Mer forskning behövs inom svensk sjukvård för att säkerställa resultatet av patientens upplevelse kring bedsiderapportering och effekterna de i längden ger på vården och arbetssätt / Background: The healthcare must be based on each patient requiring individual care. The patient's needs and background is the basis for a participation in healthcare. It should be person-centered which requires a good working method and care design. Purpose: The purpose was to describe the patients experience of bedside report between work shifts in emergency care. Method: A general literature review was used as the method. The databases CINAHL and PubMed were used for the article searches. Also, manual searches were performed to answer the purpose. A total of 15 articles were selected for the result. These articles were reviewed by Sophiahemmets modified the review template to classify and quality assess the articles. An integrated analysis was conducted of the articles which were encoded and summarized. Recurring content in the result articles made themes that created the results. Results: The articles presented in the results are published during the years 2011-2020. The result was divided into two themes with four and three subcategories respectively. The patient's experience of participation in bedside reporting and the patient's experience of information in bedside reporting. Under these themes were five categories, to be listened to, the participatory role, secrecy, the personal contact, and information. Conclusion: The conclusion was that bedside reporting in emergency care is important for the patient to be able to participate in. Patients feel more respected and have better compliance. This contributes to increased patient safety and decreases the risk for medical errors. However, more research is needed in Swedish hospitals in the area to be able to optimize the results of bedside reporting from the patients' perspective and investigate the long-term effects of the care and work routines.
