Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka förskolepedagogers syn på konflikter mellan barn och arbetet med detta. Jag har utgått från följande frågeställningar: Vad kan konflikter mellan barn handla om? Hur hanterar pedagoger konflikter? För att studera detta har jag gjort kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra förskolepedagoger. Undersökningen visade att pedagogernas hantering av konflikter mellan barnen är viktigt då det ger barnen verktyg för att själva kunna hantera konflikter i framtiden. Det finns ett flertal orsaker till att konflikter uppstår mellan barnen såsom missförstånd, oenigheter över föremål och uteslutning ur lekar. Det är viktigt att alla barn får komma till tals och bli bekräftade i en konfliktsituation. Det framkom också att det är mycket viktigt att pedagogen finns närvarande för att både hantera och förebygga att konflikter uppstår. / The purpose of this essay is to study pre-school teachers´ views on conflicts between children and the work with this. I have used the following questions as a way to reach the purpose: What can conflicts among children be about? How do pre-school teachers handle these conflicts? As a method I have chosen to do qualitative interviews with four pre-school teachers. The study’s main results show that the handling of conflicts that occur between children is important. It gives the children tools for how they can handle conflicts by themselves in the future. There are many reasons why conflicts appear between children such as misunderstandings, disagreements about toys and exclusions in play. When a conflict is to be handled it’s very important that every child gets a chance to give there point of view and that they are being confirmed. Another view that showed up in the study was that an important thing, both for handling and preventing conflicts in pre-school, is that the teachers always is present among the children.
