This essay is studying Hammarö and Grums work to increase place attractivness, strategies for marketing and the impact on the demographics. The introduction describes the two places guidelines and goals from their respective layout plan. The topic is based on the urbanization and the tendency of people moving away and leaving smaler places. The theory chapter discusses some important concepts and going over some of the previous research on the topic. Place marketing is one of the most importaint topics that this essay is going to discuss. For this study i am using a mixed method which includes qualitative interviews, statistics, and analysis of documents and photos. The fourth chapter presents the empirical material and quotes from the interviews is presented alongside the analysis of the documents and photos. The analysis of the essay is in the fifth chapter discussing the emoirical material alongside the theory. The last chapter presents the results of the study and the questions is here being awnserd.
