Denna studie behandlar delaktighet och inflytande mellan hem och förskola, vilket är ett av förskolans uppdrag enligt styrdokumenten. Vi har valt att genomföra denna studie för att få insyn i hur föräldrar på en förskola uppfattar sin delaktighet och sitt inflytande. Som verksamma i förskolan har vi funderat på om och hur vi möjliggör för föräldrar att förstå det demokratiska uppdraget och de både rättigheter och skyldigheter som det för med sig. Studiens syfte är att beskriva föräldrars uppfattning om delaktighet och inflytande i förskolans verksamhet och pedagogiska planering. I bakgrunden presenteras tidigare forskning om föräldrars delaktighet och inflytande. Begreppen delaktighet och inflytande utreds och utgör sedan studiens teori. Studiens datainsamling består av en enkät som tolkas kvalitativt och till viss del kvantitativt. Enkäten har besvarats av 35 föräldrar på en förskola. Studien visar att föräldrar uppfattar att delaktighet och inflytande till stor del handlar om kommunikation. Den kommunikation som beskrivs är information som rör det egna barnet och information som rör förskolans verksamhet genom dagliga möten och genom de formella forum som förskolan erbjuder. Komplexiteten i begreppens betydelse diskuteras, då begreppen ofta används synonymt och är svåra att definiera. Vidare diskuteras förskollärares roll/attityd i förhållande till föräldrar och begreppen makt, demokrati samt kommunikation. Beroende på den attityd förskollärare har till föräldrars rättighet och ansvar ges möjlighet eller hinder till delaktighet och inflytande. / This study deals with participation and influence between home and preschool, which is one of the preschool's assignment according to the governing documents. We have chosen to conduct this study to gain insight into how parent’s at a preschool perceive their participation and their influence. As active in preschool, we wondered if and how we enable parent’s to understand the democratic mandate and the rights and responsibilities that it brings. The study's purpose is to describe parent’s perception of participation and influence in preschool and educational planning. In the background are presented previous research on parental participation and influence. The concepts of participation and influence are investigated and then form the study's theory. The study's data collection consists of a questionnaire that was interpreted qualitatively and partly quantitatively. The questionnaire was answered by 35 parents at a preschool. The study shows that parent’s perceive that participation and influence largely about communication. The communication described is information related to their child and information related to preschool through daily meetings and through the formal forum that preschool offers. The complexity of these concepts is discussed, then the terms are often used synonymously and are difficult to define. Furthermore preschool teachers' role / attitude in relation to parent’s and concepts of authority, democracy and communication are discussed. Depending on the attitude of pre-school teachers to parent’s rights and responsibilities are given the opportunity or barrier to participation and influence.
