Asyndetische Satzverknüpfung in der Pressesprache im Deutschen und Litauischen / Complex clauses without conjunctions of the press language in German and Lithuanian

In this study are analyzed clauses without conjunctions of the press language in German and Lithuanian. The aim of the study was to find differences and similarities between coordination and subordination of compound and complex clauses without conjunctions of investigated languages, to group clauses by syntactic and semantic aspects and to establish the frequency of complex clauses without conjunctions in German and Lithuanian. The study deals also with the relations of complex clauses. According to the examples of investigated languages it is established that in Lithuanian press language there are much more complex clauses without conjunctions as in German. The conclusion is drawn that primary difference between investigated languages is frequency of complex clauses without conjunctions.
