Previous issue date: 2014 / Este trabalho é uma etnografia sobre as formas e as dinâmicas políticas entre os Tupinambá da Terra Indígena Olivença (Ilhéus, Bahia). Ao descrever a vida política destes indígenas demonstro que, mesmo diante de um longo e intenso processo de submissão colonial, expropriação territorial e invisibilidade étnica (ou "caboclização"), a partir do reconhecimento de sua identidade indígena no ano de 2001, os Tupinambá voltam a operar um conjunto de princípios comparáveis àqueles observados entre outros coletivos ameríndios das terras baixas. A tese aborda os processos que são próprios ao fazer política entre indígenas e que transborda seus efeitos para a compreensão da territorialidade Tupinambá efetivada, sobretudo, nas retomadas e na consolidação de aldeias que se espalham no perímetro da Terra Indígena. Ademais, a dimensão da política passa a ser acessada a partir das inter-relações cotidianas, das relações de parentesco, do ato de aproximar e afastar pessoas, enfim, de constituir, romper e novamente estabelecer associações. Neste amplo cenário, procura-se mapear os personagens eminentes e as relações sociopolíticas que vertem dos mesmos, dando ênfase às dinâmicas de formação e legitimação dos caciques e seus grupos que se multiplicam com regularidade entre os Tupinambá. A análise persegue, portanto, as relações que dão conta desta política local e que transcendem o plano da humanidade para abarcar também os não humanos (especificamente os Encantados). Tal esforço vem somar-se a outros trabalhos da etnologia que se dedicaram expressivamente a descrever os modos de ação política nas paisagens ameríndias.<br> / Abstract : This paper is an ethnographic study on the political patterns and dynamics among The Tupinambá da Terra Indígena Olivença (Ilhéus, Bahia). While describing the political life of these indigenous I demonstrate that even facing a long and intense process of colonial submission, land expropriation and ethnical invisibility (or "caboclizaçao"), as from the recognition of their indigenous identity in 2001, The Tupinambá went back to running a set of principles which are comparable to those we can see among other Amerindian groups from the low lands. This thesis approaches the proceedings that are typical of the indigenous political ways and that also affect the comprehension of the real Tupinambá territoriality, especially on the repossessions and consolidation of the villages that lay on the perimeter of the indigenous land. Moreover, the political scope is analyzed starting at the everyday interrelations, kinship relations, the act of associating with and deviating from individuals, meaning the act of consolidating relations, separating, and associating again. In this wide scenario I aim to sketch out the eminent characters and the sociopolitical relations that come from them, emphasizing the dynamics of the constitution and legitimation of the chiefs and their groups which multiply regularly among the Tupinambá. Therefore, the analyses pursues the relations which enable this local politics and that transcend the human dimension to enclose the non humans (specifically the Encantados). Such endeavor comes to add to other ethnology researches which meaningfully described the approaches of the political actions in the Amerindian landscape.
