Visualisering av vibrationsnivåer på pressvalsar / Presentation of Vibration Measurements on Press Rolls

This project has been revolved on behalf of Stora Enso Skoghall's mill. The work illustrates how vibration analysis works and why it is important for the preparatory maintenance work at the business. Today, there are problems with visualizing the vibration levels that arise when the press rollers become angular on KM8, which is one of the two cardboard machines the company has. Visualization of the vibration levels is important for the business as it facilitates the analysis of the vibrations. Today, the press rolls on the first press have a running time of 18 months, which is the recommended run time according to Valmet who handles the repairs of the rollers. A visualization aid can help tell when the rollers are really needed to be replaced or if they can continue running. A visualization aid has been developed that shows when the roller is either in a green area which means that it can continue to be used, a yellow area where operators should monitor the roller more often and a red area where the roller should be replaced immediately. The tool is easy to understand which was one of the goals of the project
