Wege zu einer spirituellen Dimension der Pädagogik: Eine Spurensuche

This article aimes at tracing the spiritual dimension of educational ideas and methods. The scientific project observes spirituality in different pedagogical spheres of life. In searching for spiritual experiences a myriad of distinguished reports can be found. The author tries to structure these various reports and to develop different tools to describe substance and essence of spirituality, its scientific theory and its epistemological foundation. In the last chapters the spiritual dimensions of mathematical literacy and the axiomatic method are discussed. These dimensions may support enthusiasm, estimation and value guidance in education.
